Dr. Peter Shim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his dental training at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital of Richmond. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Society of Pediatric Sedation.

Dr. Shim enjoys working with children of all ages, and he is excited to join the team. He is always eager to acquire additional knowledge and learn new techniques, and his goal is for all his patients at Britestars Pediatric Dentistry to have a pleasant experience.

When Dr. Shim is not practicing dentistry, he loves to try new local restaurants with his wife. He also enjoys playing soccer, watching movies and listening to music while he is driving.
